What will tomorrow bring??

I love surprises, but not this kind! Tomorrow is the last day of Nifedipine and what in the world will happen once the meds are out of my body?? No one knows! The nurses at the hospital made it sound promising that labor would resume once I stopped taking the medicines. Doc told me that baby can come out anytime after tomorrow because she'll be fully developed and functioning, but said he's seen just as many girl stay pregnant until their due date and beyond after stopping the meds.

I kinda feel like an emotional wreck right now. After almost having our baby a couple weeks back I'm dying to have her here. And knowing that she is healthy enough to come makes me all the more ready for her! I was totally content waiting 40 weeks plus for her, but the little teaser has made me very impatient and all of a sudden discontent with the idea of waiting much longer!

All I know is that Thursday will be full of long walks and other things to help get labor going again. I know that Heavenly Father knows what is best for us and baby and he'll give us to her when he thinks is best, but oh boy, my unknowing state is getting the best of me! Breathe in... Breathe out....

I am so sorry! I didn't even know you had contractions. I was dilated to a 3 at 36 weeks but to not be even 33 weeks! I am sorry you have gone through this. Don't we love modern medicine! I am glad they got it under control. Take it easy and I am sure everything will be great. When she arrives take every moment in because it is the coolest thing that you will ever experience. It's amazing everyday but that first time you hold her in your arms....i can't even explain what it deels like! I am very excited for you. Good luck! We'll pray for you.

Good luck! Post pictures if you go in to labor okay? my one peice of advice: Let the nurses take her! ( of course have them bring her when she needs to be fed) but you will have her forever, and it will help you so much if you can get your sleep. anyways.... good luck!

Nakita! It has been forever since I've caught up on your blog, but I'm so sorry for all the drama at this end of your pregnancy! I'm really excited for you to be un-pregnant and mommy-ing! You will be great! Good luck for this last lap of your pregnancy and enjoy all the firsts yet to come!
