6 months and Antelope Island in May

Ivan and Reese are 22 months apart with only a 5 lb difference (as of Ivan's 6 month check-up a month ago). At 6 months Ivan was 19 lbs 6.5 oz and 27 1/4 " long. These are both considered 75-90th percentile. His head was in the 50-75th percentile. I like to have these numbers recorded because it is fun to compare with Reese's numbers and will be fun to compare with our future kids' stats.
We went to Antelope Island in May. The gnats were hatching so there were SO many bugs! We wanted to walk down to the lake but after stepping out of the car decided against it. Here's the view through our bug gut encrusted windshield.
The driver/adventure finder - love him!!
 The lake was beautiful.
Our car was in need of a good "shave" after driving to the island, so on the way home we took it to a car wash where Eric scrubbed the front with soapy water and a big push broom and then took it through the automatic car wash. I always get excited to go through the automatic car washes. I've always loved them - especially the ones with brushes. I equally enjoy watching Reese's eyes get wide when the water/soap/brushes/etc hit her window.
Reese wasn't super excited about getting her picture taken on the buffalo, most likely because she was sniffing in gnats left and right.
 Ivan grew a goatee :)
We put this ladder up to our kitchen window so Reese can climb up and "order" snacks, toys, or other things she wants outside with her. When it is time to clean up she likes to take one thing at a time, climb up the ladder, and push it through the window.

It's so crazy how much your babies looks alike in your first picture! So cute!
